Upcoming dataz

I was just going to get to work on a few of the projects I have cooked up, but as I am unable to login at the moment, I figured I’d give you guys a heads up. First of all, a big thanks to those who have gotten straight to work tanking stuff, and for the submissions! If you are tanking outlands content (or azeroth for those not at the level cap) I would love to hear from you. Head over to the Feats page for submission info!

Next up will be a threat assesment of all the tenacity pets. I’ll be looking at threat per second (TPS), and hopefully pin down the exact amount of threat generated by each pet special. After threat i’ll be collecting a small mountain of data to ascertain where our pet’s dodge, block, parry, crit, hit, and miss chances stand. Once these are nailed down it will be possible to ascertain what the maximum mitigation % is for our pets.

Why is that important? Well, other than just knowing for your own purposes, knowing the facts about your pet will better equip you to convince a doubtful raid group to let you use your pet as a tank. When someone tells you your pet can’t tank because it doesn’t have parry or block (a common misconception), you can set them straight.

Let the Hunt begin!
